A urine bottle (urinal) is a vessel used both in hospitals and in care facilities, as well as in long-term care, in emergency and in home care in order to collect the urine of a patients. The use of unrinals is a proven way to spare sick and weak people the walk to the toilet. Earlier urinals were made of glas and today they are made of plastic or pulp – called now disposable urine bottles. Glas and plastic urinals normally have a scale allows to read the amount of content . Pulp urinals are not transparent. But it´s also possible to read the amount of content by using the surface of special measuring tapes, Conventional urine bottles must be cleaned and disinfected in bedpan washers after using and befor given again to an other patient. Disposable pulp urine bottles are only for single using. After using they could be shredded into ECO-Finisher-Macerator and disposed of through the sewage system. Compared to the reusable systems (bedpan washers) disposable urinals have the advantage that the transfer of germs and bacterias can be excluded. Even the risk of infection of the staff is significantly reduced by using disposable urinals. (pulp urine bottles).

Sodium polyacrylate is a super absorber. This consists of polymers has the capacity to absorb and bind many times of its own weight in liquids . The application areas are primarily hospitals or care institutions. It is also used outside of these institutions, such as in chemical-free toilet systems to dispose the urine into the regular household garbage. Gelling agent is additionally wonderful to reduce odor significantly. The binding process only takes a few seconds.
